About Us
Pioneer lawyer Morris J. Moyer established the firm in 1886, 18 years after William Barnes built the first frame house in Madison County and established the town of Madison. Since then, the Moyer name has come to mean integrity, excellence and perseverance. The firm has maintained an eclectic mix of business with an emphasis on civil and criminal litigation.

George H. Moyer has more than 50 years of experience practicing law in Nebraska. He is nationally recognized for his defense work on Jacobsen v. United States, which he argued in front of the U.S. Supreme Court in 1992. The case is credited for changing guidelines for federal law enforcement regarding entrapment. George is an AV Preemininent peer reviewed rated attorney.
